Position: Security Architect
Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-02-22
Intial 6 month Contract to Hire. The Infrastructure Security Architect will
serve as a key member of the Security Engineering team, leading several highly
visible security initiatives like Data Leak Protection, Provisioning, Endpoint
Security, PKI, and Security Information Management. Since the security group is
newly created, this position is initially a consultant resource with a high
probability of conversion to FTE in late 2008 / early 2009.
The role also represents Security Engineering with ongoing projects like
enterprise messaging, Active Directory consolidation, and configuration
management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Core Competencies:
10+ years in IT and Information Security in a large environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical environment
Experience bringing large projects from concept to production
Vendor selection and product evaluation experience (RFPs, bake-offs, etc)
Skills Inventory:
Active Directory: GPOs, Federation, Trusts, Architecture, Auditing
System Security: Windows, Solaris, AIX, RedHat hardening / build integration
Endpoint Security: Antivirus / Antispyware, Disk Encryption, HIDS
Patch / Configuration Management: LanDesk, WSUS, Altiris, Patchlink, others
Other Key Skills:
Detail-oriented, razor-sharp focus on tasks and timeframes
Presentation and public speaking skills, industry conferences / groups
Previous exposure to a new and developing security team
