Position: Software Engineer
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
Type: Permanent F/T

Calling all network security super heroes: We need your help to thwart the
forces that put the world's computer networks in peril. If you have a passion
for stopping would-be network attackers in a single bound and using your
extensive security experience to make networks stronger than steel, we want to
hear from you.
Our client is looking for a Security Software Engineer to ensure that their
security software continues to stand up to even the most formidable attackers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an industry leader with a proven
international track-record in software development. The client has a team of
highly talented software engineers using "bleeding edge" technologies. In this
critical role, you will be responsible for integrating third-party events and
vulnerabilities into our client's flagship network security product. You will
collect and analyze log data and work with the team to design, implement, and
test device support that will bring our client's solutions to the next level.

THE LOCATION
Fredericton is a small, beautiful, historic city with two universities, many
cultural activities (including an excellent jazz festival), plenty of

knowledge industry sector.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

As our ideal candidate, you have strong network security knowledge and
experience and have experience analyzing and managing logs. You have extensive
programming skills in languages such as Java and/or C/C++ in a Linux
environment and you have strong abilities with scripting languages like Python
and Perl. The ability to leap tall buildings is not required.
