Position: Security Engineer
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2008-02-16
ANTIVIRUS ENGINEER:
This person will be responsible for providing tier 3-4 support of malicous
logic solutions including antivirus, antispam and antispyware security
products. Support of malicious logic products include Symantec, McAfee,
Tumbleweed, Antigen and Trend Micro. Administration, troubleshooting and
engineering of solutions is done daily in support of customer contracts.
Education and Experience
BS Degree or equivalent experience
6+ Years of Information Technology Experience / 2+ years Network Security
Experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate will manage solutions that the SOC uses and communicate with the
vendors that supply those products with issues, problems, etc. Products
include McAfee, Symantec, TrendMicro, Tumbleweed. Candidate should have an
experience of dealing with a 25,000 user environemnt.
An Engineering background would be preferred, however this is not a traditional
engineer position where they will be "building"
Must be able to handle problems from start through to resolution vs. sending to
a Tier above for help
Security Certs are a plus (NetPlus, A+, SecurityPlus) No CISSP required
Strong phone skills
