Position: Security Architect
Location: Olympia/Tumwater, Washington, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2008-02-04
Our client is looking for a very advanced network security architect for their
location in Tumwater. This is a great opportunity to get in with a stable
organization and really put down roots. This is a 6 month contract with a very
likely 12 month extension (total of 18 months).
Candidates MUST have the following qualifications to be considered.
* At least five years experience in network security designs focused on a
layered security approach.
* At least five years working knowledge and experience of networking
technologies and how to best secure and integrate old with new technologies.
* At least five years experience providing effective oral and written
presentations to large diverse audiences with all levels of IT experience.
* At least four years knowledge and experience of cabling standards and
carrier circuit options.
* At least two years knowledge and experience of wireless technologies and
“best practices” related to wireless security.
* At least one year’s worth of knowledge and experience in current IT
Project Management methodologies.
* A BA in Computer Science or a closely related field.
