Position: Sr. Product Manager
Location: CUPERTINO, California, United States

Sr.Product Manager - Endpoint Security
Job responsibilities:
• Lead the effort in delivering world-class enterprise endpoint security
products.
• Conduct and utilize continuous competitive research.
• Manage and execute product delivery (including managing relationships
with vendors, partners, outsourced and remote teams).
• Hire, coach, motivate, and develop strong team players.
• Define and manage product development plans and benchmarks.
• Deliver products that win awards and generate high customer satisfaction
ratings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Desired Education, Experiences & Skills:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Eng/Science or related technical
discipline required.
• At least 8-10 yrs of progressive experience in Software/Hardware Product
Architecture. Ideal fields would be (1) Computer and Network security (2)
Storage (3) Wireless networks (4) Consumer devices.
• Willing to quickly acquire/build knowledge of company's products.
• Ability to collect and translate multiple inputs into a well thought out
technology strategy.
• Ability to achieve both short & long term objectives (to develop
strategies to ensure that less pressured but important projects are not
overlooked).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Patient
and sensitive towards cross-cultural communications.
• Excellent presentation skills. Must be comfortable presenting and
defending material both to Executives as well as large groups.
• Networking skills to effectively plug into the industry.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills including algorithm analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP and networking in general.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel, multi-threading, event-driven
programming, fast lookup algorithms.
• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Experience in the architecture and design of large, high-performance
systems.
• Experience in object oriented design.
• Good knowledge of C/C++. Knowledge of scripting languages such as
Python, Perl is a big plus.
• Knowledge in content security, Security software (Anti-virus, IDS, IPS,
UTM), Networking (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching), Messaging (SMTP, Anti-Spam
etc.), Web security (caching, URL filtering etc.).
• Driven, self-motivated person with a determination to achieve company
focused objectives/goals.
• Team player, high integrity, confidence and maturity. Always win-win
focused.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport and communicate effectively across
all levels of the organization.
• Inclusive mentality with a respectful but persistent attitude towards
achieving goals.
