Position: Software Engineer

Our dynamic Marketing Communications group has an immediate opening for a
competent and meticulous Web Designer to focus heavily on Web and content
projects.
Responsibilities
Work within our Webstaff as a Web designer perfoming the following: posting
content and graphics updates in html, learning out set of web tools, including
content, structure, and Web forms tools. Create Web pages with design and
layout following our guidelines for both internal/external company Web site
content, as well as capability to design new Web pages outside our usual
format. Work may include formatting text, tables, assuring hyperlink integrity,
working with graphics development and sizing, buttons, banners, file transfer,
and posting and maintaining organization and consistency across our translated
pages of content. Posting of new material to Web pages utilizing HTML
scripting, use of tabs, and tracking code as required. Creating PDFs of Web
pages. Compiling, analyzing and reporting statistics regarding Web site traffic
working with log files or hosted javascript. Assist in maintaining security
processes and procedures. May also assist some of the Web developer act
ivities, so some programming knowledge a plus. Support SEO efforts and
relevant content postings and updates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills and Experience
Strong communication skills that support timely, thorough yet concise
communication in a fast-paced daily work environment. Must be proactive,
responsive, and cooperative, willing to quickly assume duties with the team.
Experienced with project management.
Strong independent and team contributor, years of experience and knowledge of
html software skills and high aptitude to learn new software programs. Solid
and proficient use of English and grammar in a marketing and technical capacity
to support Web content development as needed, including editing and proofing,
strong attention to detail to both PDF and Web content, and project management
skills. An extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracy is
required. The ability to efficiently multi-task is essential. Willingness to
perform all levels of Web projects as needed.
Skills: HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Flash.
Knowledge of email html templates, template design, and mailing programs. Word,
strong Excel/.csv skills, FTP server software. Solid grammatical skills for
editing and proofing content and the ability to project manage a task through
its development cycle.
