Position: Security Product Manager
Location: San Mateo, California, United States

Product Manager
Location: San Mateo, CA
The Product Manager will create and expand policy enforcement products into a
successful product line. This individual will lead the initial technical
investigation, specify requirements for policy enforcement across applications,
protocols, and systems, and drive cross-functional projects with teams across
geographies. The Product Manager will also participate in Sales, Marketing, and
Business Develop efforts to position products, train sales force, and cultivate
partnerships.
This position requires strong technical background and excellent communication
skills to take highly technical products and effectively articulate
requirements, functional specification, and high level architecture within the
project team and with customers.
Responsibilities include:
• Define product requirement, product roadmap, and product strategy.
• Lead Product Development in initial technical investigation.
• Drive cross functional projects to successfully deliver products.
• Develop marketing collaterals, including datasheets, whitepapers, and
Website content.
• Deliver sales training with product presentations and demonstrations
• Search for and integrate solutions with complementary partners to build
an effective ecosystem.
• Support Proof-of-Concept and Pilot activities with key accounts.
• Present product features and architecture to customers and partners by
leading the discussions.
• Participate in business development efforts with including assisting
Sales and Services teams with proposal development, account strategy, and
execution of sales tactics and partnership development activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert both inside the company and externally
with customers and partners.
• Work closely with other Product Managers to address existing and future
customer and market development opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required skills include:
• 3+ years work experience in enterprise application product management
role.
• Ability to write clear and convincing MRDs and detailed PRDs.
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Designing user interaction and UI mockups.
• Leading cross-functional and cross-geography teams and managing
multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and experience in
software development with Microsoft Office, Windows, Linux, or Unix
• Familiarity in enterprise class security and information management
technologies
• Willingness to travel
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• MBA preferred
