Position: Security Product Marketing Manager

Senior Product Marketing Manager
Location: San Mateo, CA
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will focus in creating and marketing
information risk management applications. This individual will identify high
value solutions and productize them using the Compliant Enterprise platform.
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for positioning the
product, developing marketing strategy, and enabling sales team with training
and support. This individual will work closely with Product Managers and
Development teams to set product direction and define product requirements.
This position requires both product management and product marketing skills and
experience. It’s a fulfilling job for a motivated, self-starter who
wants full control of the product.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify and evaluate opportunity for information risk management
applications in horizontal and vertical markets.
• Define product requirement, product roadmap, and product strategy.
• Drive cross functional projects to successfully deliver products.
• Develop marketing collaterals, including datasheets, whitepapers, and
Website content.
• Deliver sales training with product presentations and demonstrations
• Search for and integrate solutions with complementary partners to build
an effective ecosystem.
• Support Proof-of-Concept and Pilot activities with key accounts.
• Present product features and architecture to customers and partners by
leading the discussions.
• Participate in business development efforts with including assisting
Sales and Services teams with proposal development, account strategy, and
execution of sales tactics and partnership development activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert both inside the company and externally
with customers and partners.
• Work closely with other Product Managers to address existing and future
customer and market development opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required skills include:
• 5+ years work experience in enterprise application product management
role.
• Ability to write clear and convincing MRDs and detailed PRDs.
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Designing application user interaction and UI mockups.
• Leading cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks: COBIT,
ISO 17799, ITIL, ITAR, PCI, and etc.
• Familiarity in enterprise class security and information management
technologies
• Willingness to travel
• MBA preferred
