Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Seattle, Washington, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can use your background in
refining IT security and compliance processes and procedures?
Information Assurance Analyst
The Information Assurance Analyst reports to the Director of IT Security &
Compliance and will lead/support the security plan development/review processes
for all business & IT applications/systems. The analyst will also work with the
IT Security & Compliance team to create and optimize processes and procedures
that directly impact the confidentiality, integrity and availability of
business critical information at Safeco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design & development of Security Plan templates, processes and
management facilities
- Participate in the development & execution of the Security Plan review process
- Partner with business units to ensure Security Plan library is accurate and
current
- Act as main point of contact for Internal Audit and external compliance
auditors for Security Plan inquiries
- Assist in the assessment & refinement of IT Security & Compliance processes &
procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
- 4+ years experience in an information security/compliance/information
assurance role
- Hands-on experience performing IT controls or in-depth auditing of IT control
compliance
- Significant experience developing & refining IT security procedures and
processes
- Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of Windows security, TCP/IP networking
security; ACF2/mainframe security
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience highly desired
– Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
– Ability to meet deliverables and deadlines with quality standards
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
– Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
- Working knowledge of principles/procsses described in NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP
800-15
- CISSP, CIA or CISA a plus
