Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-01-11
*Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
DES:
-All candidates must have 4 to 5 years experience in C&A/IA
*Exp with relevant federal (e.g., FISMA, Privacy Act, HIPAA), NIST, OMB, and
FIPS information technology security
*Federal government experience and a CISSP are preferred
-Candidates must be able to work independently and also be a team player.
Skills in the following areas are required:
*Experience in performing security risk assessments, developing security plans,
and performing certification and accreditation of information systems
*Exp defining and conducting software tests and evaluations for technical
verification and validation of automation security
*Exp defining software control procedures for systems connected to secure
networks
*Exp in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests of software
systems and networks.
*Strong technical background with variety of computer hardware, software, and
comm systems including system integration, network architectures and
physical/logical communication systems/devices.
*Exp in systems programming and computer network security
regulations, policies and procedures
*Superior written comm and client interface skills
