Position: Technology Risk Consultant
Location: NY, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Strategic Risk Management Consultant
Responsibilities
- The Consultant will conduct risk assessments; communicate recommendations to
clients in verbal and written format. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security
threats, countermeasures, security tools and network technologies. Develop and
maintain client relationships. Assist the sales process
- Perform risk assessments and other client work related to Foundstone’s
professional services offerings and act as team lead during engagements or
portions of engagements.
- Maintain technical proficiency, sharing knowledge throughout the firm through
tool development, template enhancements and methodology enhancements. Identify
and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
- Mentor other consultants and peers in new techniques, tools and other job
skills.
- Teach Foundstone training courses.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years industry experience including 2 years subject field
experience (IT Audit/consulting/computer security)
- Experience performing risk assessments, compliance audits (SOX, HIPAA, FISMA,
ISO, COBIT, FFIEC, etc.), network pen tests, server config reviews, firewall
reviews, etc.
- 4 year college degree (technical degree preferred)
- Masters Degree helpful, but not required
- CISSP certification helpful but not required
- MCSE, CCNA/CCIE helpful, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
