Position: Security Engineer
Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-12-20
TS/SCI System Engineer Leader Needed at Lackland AFB, TX.
Requires a background in software/internet security practices is an extra. At
least 3 years experience in Malware Analysis and reverse engineering. At least
3 years network programming skills/training (TCP/IP, socket and packet level);
experience programming in both UNIX and Windows operating systems. DOD Top
Secret/SCI clearance required.
Programming experience with C/C++ in Microsoft Windows and Unix environments.
Java experience a benefit. Proficiency with UNIX (Linux and Solaris) and
MicroSoft System Administration, installation/administration of Intrusion
Detection Systems (IDS), network scanners, and vulnerability assessment tools.
Experience in developing custom IDS and Virus signatures preferred. Must have
Malware analysis and reverse engineering experience and training in disassembly
toolkits, performing behaviorial and code analysis, bypassing authentication
mechanisms, examining protected or packaged executables, and patching compiled
executables. At a minimum, must be experienced with reverse engineering tools
such as System Monitor, Process Explorer, Regshot, hex editors, VMWare, IDA
Pro, OllyDbg, Snort, and NetCat. Experience in computer and network security
research, application development, and system vulnerability assessments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management
Information Systems or related field preferred. Seven years or more experience
in systems engineering, software engineering, or operating systems programming.
Experience in working with operating systems software. Experience working
with one or more structured programming languages. Experience working with
