Position: Security Engineer
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T

Purpose of Role
The role encompasses installation, integration, productionisation information
security software tools into the current operational security infrastructure.
As part of the productionisation process, deliver accurate implementation and
operational documentation and develop cogent processes which deliver business
value and satisfy regulatory responsibilities in accordance with internal audit
requirements
Key Tasks
Architecture, installation, engineering and configuration of security products
to production status.
Assistance in the product procurement cycle: testing and evaluation, produce
effective selection criteria
Architecture of product to meet requirements and vendors specification
Produce comprehensive documentation
Liaison with vendor to resolve issues
Engineer solutions to assist product integration where necessary
Management of Information Security Projects
Management of internal resources
Ensure project activity is effectively managed and progress is reported in
accordance with Project Management standards
Information Security Policy, Standards and Procedures Development
Assist with the ongoing development and maintenance of the Information Security
Framework in conjunction with business drivers and audit requirements.
Support of the security incident reporting and notification process
Manage security incidents to minimise business impact when necessary
Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business
requirement
