Job Title:      Resource Coordinator
Reports To:     Director of Operations
FLSA Status:    Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY:  Coordinates consulting resources assigned to internal and client 
engagements.  Maintain and strive to improve internal employee satisfaction by 
providing clear and concise communication on all project aspects. May have 
supervisory responsibilities including performance management and corrective 
action.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may 
be assigned.

•  Works with the appropriate Practice Director and/or Engagement Manager, 
to:
o       Track resource allocation on client and internal projects, and 
coordinate the scheduling of resources to avoid overbooking or other allocation 
conflicts.
o       Serve as a focal point for the collection of time and expense 
reporting, and ensuring proper and timely dissemination of time and expense 
data to Engagement Managers, Practice Directors, and Accounting.
o       Assist as necessary with overseeing overall performance of defined 
scope(s) of work as indicated by customer satisfaction, quality of products 
and/or services provided, level of profitability attained and other such 
measures as may be designated.
o       Serve as a customer contact to help customer interface and assure 
responsiveness to customer needs and effective professional conduct.
o       Prepare project schedules as necessary. Monitor and control work in 
progress against schedule and contractual agreements.
o       Ensure that appropriate review of client deliverables for quality 
assurance is performed by a relevant Practice Director prior to turn-over to 
client.
o       Coordinate efforts of technical consultants, Practice Directors, or 
Engagement Managers to review project deliverables and work product for 
quality; and provide active assistance to meet schedules or customer 
requirements, or to resolve engagement issues.
o       Establish metrics and monitor progress to assure contract compliance, 
customer satisfaction and attainment of company commitments and objectives.  
Reports progress to appropriate levels of IOActive and client management.
o       Alert appropriate organizational elements of barriers to providing 
products and services that meet will contract quality, performance, schedule, 
and cost requirements.
o       Represent the company as an auxiliary customer contact on assigned 
consulting contracts or Projects.
o       Ensure that all appropriate documentation related to projects (e.g., 
billing information, client information, work break-down structure, schedule 
and project plan, project working papers) is completed accurately and in a 
timely manner.
•  Uses and is proficient in various project management software 
applications that may be used, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Project.
•  Uses and is proficient in various office productivity software 
applications that may be used, including, but not limited to components of the 
Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft 
PowerPoint).
•  Documents and relays client feedback to staff and to IOActive 
Management.
•  Works with IOActive, client stakeholders, and project participants in 
the resolution of project issues that would critically impact performance, 
schedule or cost.





JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•  Bachelor’s Degree. 
•  5 or more years of project management experience with a professional 
services or software product company, including familiarity with government 
contract business development, accounting, and procedures. 
•  PMI certification desired. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, RFPs, RFQQs, RFIs, 
terms and conditions documents, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine 
reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of 
customers or employees of the organization.  Ability to effectively manage 
communication between customers and employees to coordinate efforts and 
elements of complex projects to ensure that stakeholders and participants are 
able to make informed decisions and accomplish defined goals. Effective 
interpersonal, oral and written communications and presentation skills; 
demonstrated experience interacting with, and presenting to, executive 
management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.  Ability to perform 
calculations related to the financial (e.g., costing, profitability, budget and 
variance reports) and resource allocation and management aspects of consulting 
services projects.

mobility and ability to stand and walk for periods of time.  Employee may need 
to lift up to 10 pounds on occasion.  May require working under stressful 
conditions due to deadlines and time constraints.
