Position: Security Architect
Location: Arlinton, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-12-09
Security Architecture Lead
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and
must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must
be clearable to the Top Secret level.
Team Lead for Security Policy & Architecture
• Manage the workload of the SP&A team, including tasking, product review
and report out.
• Perform strategic support activities as needed to handle incoming work
request surges.
• Report to the Section Chief, IT Security Compliance, and other TSA
Management on a daily basis. (He/she will be working along side everyone else
so this requirement is almost understood.)
• Maintain the Security Architecture Program Management Plan
• Manage work activities to ensure Security Policy and Architecture team
yearly goals are properly tracked and achieved
• Develop and maintain the biweekly SA activities report
• Participate in IT security meetings and briefings and attend Enterprise
Architecture meetings and briefings as required
• Mange the TSA DHS Techincal Reference model inputs and reports
• Develop and perform the annual "State of TSA Security" Data Calls
JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS or BA degree preferred. CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess 6 or more years of experience with federal IT security.
• CISSP, CISM, or similar information security professional certification
is preferred
• Must possess relevant security experience with security policy
development, security architecture models, enterprise risk management
frameworks, and information security regulatory compliance
• Should be familiar with Baseline Security Requirements (BLSRs) and be
able to review against Security Architecture technical requirements
