Position: Security Director
Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Director of Information Security Operations
This Senior Information Security position reports directly to the CTO and works
closely with the CSO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
implementing and supporting enterprise security policy requirements, ownership
and implementation of the State's information security technical architecture,
leadership of the State's operational security organization, senior consultant
support to State agencies, help lead technical research in security products
and technologies for enterprise implementation and to assist in the development
and implementation of communication and strategy plans as related to
information security.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience or understanding of/with the following products and/or technologies
are strongly recommended: Cisco networkwing products and technologies
(VPN,PIX,IOS,IDS,ASA). Linux/Unix/Windows/Novell OS environments, Microsoft
Active Directory implementations, Identity Management solutions, Firewall and
Intrusion Detection/Prevention platforms and products, enterprise application
security principles and technologies (SOA, ESB, AJAX), Database security
principles and technologies.
No certifications are necessary but a preference is given to those that have
any security/technical related certifications (CISSP, SANS/GCIA, Cisco etc.)
and/or a higher education degree(s). Compensation is based on experience,
education, and certifications. Candidate must have excellent customer service
skills.
A minimum of 5 years of management level enterprise system support in any
technical domain (UNIX/Microsoft/Database/Networks/Programming), with 3
focusing on information security projects or initiatives (i.e. must have both
technical management and information security exp.).
