RACF/Systems Programmer Security Analyst
Location: Bloomington
Fulltime position!

The City of Bloomington is located in Central Illinois, approximately 125 miles
southwest of Chicago, 155 miles northeast of St. Louis, and 64 miles northeast
of Springfield, the State Capital. There are two universities, three hospitals,
a convention center, two indoor malls, an outdoor outlet mall, and many banks
and Savings & Loan Associations located in the Bloomington-Normal area. It is a
great place to live and has a low cost of living.
The Technical Analyst - Security protects data and resources from accidental or
intentional disclosure, modification, and deletion by unauthorized personnel. A
Security analyst develops security policies, strategies, guidelines, standards,
and procedures. A Security analyst also serves as primary contact to the
organization for security-related issues, and provides production support to
the security environment.
Work Description:
We are looking for someone with:
- Technical knowledge of RACF
- Programming skills with familiarity of TSO, JCL, REXX, Clist
- Knowledge of application integration with RACF in the following environments
- IMS
- DB2
- CICS
- WebSphere
- Pass Ticket
- ICSF
- IPSEC
- Understanding of connectivity to the Host using
- MTS/COMTI
- MQSeries
- SNA/HIS
- Communication skills including experience developing technical expertise in
others
Understanding of:
- Industry Security Standards
- Requirements Based Security Model
- Problem and change management practices
Analysts in this position normally work first shift, although they need to be
shift-flexible.
They will be expected to work overtime when required, including 2nd shift, 3rd
shift, weekends and holidays.
This position requires 24x7 on-call availability. Analysts will be required to
carry pagers or cell phones at all times.
This position also requires the following:

4. Superior problem troubleshooting and resolution skills.
5. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
