The Role
The Security Engineer will be responsible for carrying out research and
development in the field of Vulnerability Research, Vulnerability Analysis and
Exploit Code development. Apart from that, the candidate should also possess
extremely good communication skills and should be a strong team player. The
primary roles for Security Engineers will be to analyze vulnerabilities and
document the details of the cause of effect of the vulnerability under
consideration, research different attack vectors for different vulnerabilities
under a varied scenario of platforms and architectures along with development
of production grade reliable exploits for actual testing for vulnerabilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirement
a) Advanced knowledge and experience in C/C++ programming
b) Advanced knowledge and experience in Computer Architecture and Assembly
Language (x86 preferably)
c) Advanced knowledge in Operating Systems theory and practice
d) Advanced knowledge in Application Software and System Software debugging
e) Good knowledge of vulnerability classes and exploitation techniques
f) Startup experience preferred
g) Desktop/Network Operating Systems: Windows, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, AIX,
etc.
h) Specific proxying tools such as Paros, Burp, Spike, Achilles "fault
injection"
i) Commercial tools like Watchfire's AppScan, SPI Dynamics' WebInspect,
Kavado's Scando, Cenzic's Hailstorm, Application Security Inc.'s AppDetective,
freeware tools like Whisker and Nikto; Web Servers like Apache, IIS mention of
WebServices like XML, SOAP mention of web products like Siteminder, Entrust
getaccess, RSA Cleartrust
