The Role
Deliver the following services:
Security Infrastructure Design:
Architect the high-level security infrastructure
Design the technical security infrastructure in accordance with security
policies, standards, industry best practice and business requirements
Contribute and provide feedback to the security requirements
Contribute to the technical implementation design relating to new, or
modifications to existing, infrastructure components
Security Infrastructure Evolution (As Technical Domain Owner):
Create and maintain the technology plan for the security infrastructure
components
Define detailed functional requirements for new security infrastructure
components
Lead the selection of new security infrastructure components and present in a
timely manner to the EGEB.
Validate (and provide input to) Technical Security Baseline Standards.
Define and perform the security validation of new z/OS environments
Identify and address/mitigate risks within the operational environment and
manage appropriately via the I-Track system
Respond to both Internal and External Audit inquiries.
Facilitate the assessment of changes to the IT environment and their impact on
the security architecture and operational environment
Security Consultancy
Provide general advice and guidance internally
Provide support for security assessments
