The Role
Deliver the following services:
Technical writing skills.
Project management skills.
Both formal and informal communication skills, both towards technical staff and
management.
In depth knowledge of security principles.
Technical skills of the candidate must include any combination of :
Networking: Expert knowledge of the equipment and protocols used on wide area
networks and lan's (routers, switches, vlans, tcp/ip and related application
protocols like ftp , telnet, snmp, VPN, dns.. etc).
Firewalls: relevant exposure to checkpoint and nokia implementations.
Intrusion detection/ protection systems: ability in understanding the nature
and relevance of the most frequent recurring events
Authentication schemes,
Windows NT4, 2000, XP
IBM z/OS,
Linux, Unix
Knowledge of 802.1x implementations is an advantage
Experience with at least one implementation of network segregation initiative
in a large organisation
Fluent English
