Application Security Analyst
Location: Bloomington
Fulltime position

The City of Bloomington is located in Central Illinois, approximately 125 miles 
southwest of Chicago, 155 miles northeast of St. Louis, and 64 miles northeast 
of Springfield, the State Capital. There are two universities, three hospitals, 
a convention center, two indoor malls, an outdoor outlet mall, and many banks 
and Savings & Loan Associations located in the Bloomington-Normal area. It is a 
great place to live and has a low cost of living. 

Candidate should have 4 or more of the technical skills listed: 
Object-oriented analysis experience
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/UDP, routing, switching, etc.)
Securing application protocols (HTTP, SOAP, RMI/IIOP, JDBC, LDAP, etc.)
Knowledge of server, network, database, or application hardening
Vulnerability analysis and attack vector identification for thin-client web 
applications
Risk assessment and mitigation strategy experience
Understanding of thin-client application architecture
Understanding of security-oriented protocols (SSL, SSH, IPSEC, Kerberos, etc)

Security related experience and general knowledge in 4 or more of the following 
areas: 

Windows Server, UNIX (preferably HP-UX or AIX), or z/OS
Microsoft IIS, COM+
IBM WebSphere
.NET, J2EE
Web Services and XML
Middleware technologies, relational databases, and LDAP directory services
