Working knowledge of an OS (Windows, Linux, Solaris, BSD) Knowledge of TCP/IP ports and services. Familiarity with IP Tables a plus Ability to create and perform simple command line scripts. Knowledge of PERL a plus. Knowledge of DNS (A records, CNAMES, MX records, Authority Section, TTL values.) Advanced knowledge of the PIX firewall required. Cisco PIX Certification a plus Knowledge of Cisco IDS configuration and tuning recommended. Certification a plus.
