===NETWORK ENGINEER===

Evaluates, designs, documents, installs,
implements, tests, performs problem  isolation and resolution, monitors,
tunes, sets standards and maintains a range of computer network
components and systems. Performs these functions across most of the
network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, hubs,
routers, bridges, gateways, digital servers, linedrivers,
telecommunications transport facilities, mainframe VTAM, NCP and related
software and hardware, and network management components. 
Provides client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of
the network facilities.  Begins to plan research, evaluate, and
recommend new computer network equipment and technologies. Utilizes
monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and
hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network
performance, and trace data and protocol activity. Devises solutions to
moderately complex operational problems within the capacity and
operational limitations of installed equipment. 



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in computer science, math, engineering or equivalent and two to 
four years
experience are required.
