Senior Systems Engineer

Role Description:
Senior Systems Engineer is a pre-sales technical position supporting our
Client’s sales organization in generating revenue. Responsible for working
with Sales to present the Client’s technical solution to customers,
respond to RFI/RFQs, support customer evaluations of the Client’s
products, and act as technical resource to the customer in support of Sales
during the entire sales cycle, and is also responsible for installation and
other post-sales roles as required.
Reporting to the International SE Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Experience:
Networking or Security focused background with knowledge of both Enterprise and
Service Provider Networks preferred. Applicant should have a minimum of 3-5
years experience in Network engineering, operations, security, or design in mid
to large Enterprise or Service provider Networks. Applicant should have a
minimum of 2-3 years experience as a systems engineer supporting large
enterprise customers.
Familiarity with Financial and Carrier markets security requirements preferred.
Working knowledge of network analyzers, RMON tools, network management
software, BSD, Unix, or Linux would be helpful.
Applicants should be self-starters who can operate with a minimum of direction
and have excellent written and verbal skills.
CISSP or Cisco Certifications preferred.
BSc in Computer Science or related field
Physical requirements - capable of lifting 70 Lbs
