Position:       Sr. Security Analyst
Location:       Fairfax, Virginia, United States

ICF International is currently looking for a Senior NERC Information Security 
Analyst to report directly to the ICF NERC Cyber Security Director.

This individual must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment; demonstrate a 
broad range of security, privacy, and compliance skills with direct experience 
in supporting North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) Critical 
Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards assessments and implementations in 
critical and critical cyber asset identification, security architecture 
deployments, vulnerability assessments, computer forensics, privacy, computer 
network defense, physical and virtual access controls, and policy development.  
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology 
(Master’s degree preferred) and a CISSP, CISM, CISA or CIPP, have a 
minimum of 8 years of Federal, DoD, Intelligence Community, or commercial 
utility information experience.  



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Tasks will include support for performing NERC CIP readiness assessments, 
security requirements, security policy support, security systems engineering, 
planning, and security management consulting services.  Additional tasks may 
include technical white papers, briefings, research, and hands on technical 
support as required.  Specific experience should include:
        8 years of SCADA system security, security architecture, 
network security engineering or secure network system development experience in 
supporting electric power utilities
        Hands-on experience with firewalls, enterprise anti-virus, 
enterprise IDS, and WAN ACL management and monitoring
        Knowledge of system engineering processes, particularly 
requirements analysis, interface definition, and detailed implementation 
planning
        Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science 
background
        Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, system, and host security
        Ability to work independently or within a team environment
        In depth knowledge of Federal, DoD, IC, and commercial utility 
security policies and standards
        Working knowledge of current privacy trends and standards
        Fraud and computer forensics
