Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Hopkinton, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-11-19
Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) Architect
Responsibilities
* Drive the direction and roll-out of EMC's Security Development Lifecycle
(SDL) to ensure that security is built into EMC's product development lifecycle
* Own the future direction and definition of SDL
* Be the SDL evangelist at EMC and work across EMC product groups as the
subject matter expert on SDL
* Act as the EMC representative to collaborate with other industry experts on
building best practices related to product assurance and SDL
* Enable EMC product engineering teams to adopt SDL as a standard product
development process
* Work and collaborate with other members of the EMC Product Security office to
develop tools and services for the successful implementation of SDL at EMC
* Develop content, adoption practices for the implementation of SDL including
white papers, templates, program presentations, training, etc.
Skills
* Software development experience
* Exposure to and experience of working within the scope of a formal Product
Development Lifecycle
* Strong technical aptitude
* Security Background - application security expertise preferred
* Ability to influence others to achieve results
* Leadership skills
* Negotiation skills
* Strong cross-functional team management skills
* Coordination and organization skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education Required
* Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent
* Masters Preferred
