Position: Software Engineer
Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-11-21
Working in our St. Paul, MN location, this individual will work with members of
our Sidewinder GUI development team in modifying, enhancing, testing, designing
and supporting the development efforts. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent,
with 5+ year's progressive software development experience required.
In addition, we are looking for a self-motivated individual that:
Can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
Has excellent trouble shooting, organizational and time-management skills;
Thrives in a rapid-pace, multi-tasking development environment; and
Has excellent attention to detail.
To perform successfully, the right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years
professional experience designing and developing using some or all of the
following languages:
Python
Java
C
Shell scripting
The right candidate should also have working knowledge in some or all of the
following areas:
wxPython widgets
web programming technologies
Object-oriented design and coding practices
TCP/IP networking
BSD Unix
Application protocols/proxies
Windows
Previous network security development experience is desired
