institutional as well as private investors.
Department & Job Overview
Information Security Management is part of the Risk Management Function within
the Global Control organisation.
The department is responsible for governance of company wide Information
Security through risk assessments, policy control, standards compliance,
exceptions management and security awareness and training.
The Training and awareness manager is a member of Business Continuity and
Information Security within Global Control and is responsible for ensuring that
training, education and awareness is planned and delivered across the firm.
This will be achieved by developing and delivering a Security training,
education and awareness programme to ensure that staff are aware of the risks
and issues around information security.
Key Responsibilities
Programme development
* This will include the preparation of a programme of awareness and training
tailored to key groups as well as to general audiences.
* The programme will be developed with the Information Security Officer,
planning a schedule of topics based on key issues, results of thematic reviews
and other special issues responding to current risks.
Material development
* Planning, structuring and delivering material for staff education.
* Maintaining the Information Security Management website.
* Sourcing and preparing regular news letters and information bulletins.
* Where appropriate, assisting business with creating material for delivery to
clients.
Liaison
* Liaising with 3rd party service providers.
* building relationships with InfoSec training group.
* working closely with colleagues in Asia to plan and deliver programmes and
content tailored for local markets.
* The role will involve working closely with Internal Communications to ensure
that the firm's Corporate style is maintained and presentation guidelines and
delivery channels are consistent.
Other duties
* Preparation and collation of Information Security Board and Information
Security Forum papers
Working Relationships / Contacts
The role will require close working relationships with business, operations and
systems line managers, Information Security Officers in Asia, Corporate
Communications and HR.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in Information Security
* A good working knowledge of information security policies, standards,
controls and frameworks in the investment / banking sectors. Experience of
working in an ISO 27001 accredited organisation will be of benefit.
* Experience of working in an international organisation.
* An excellent communicator/presenter who gains the confidence of key
stakeholders.
* A credible personal presence with the ability to instil confidence internally
and externally. Able to build strong relationships with peers and business
counterparts.
* Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.
* Resilient, energetic and enthusiastic; able to work under pressure
* Excellent PC skills, especially MS Office and web authoring products.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload with a keen attention to detail.
* Educated to degree level.
* Further professional qualifications an advantage.
