Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Miami, Florida, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-11-12
The senior information security analyst is responsible to provide services in
support of a cohesive and effective program surrounding information assurance
governance development and maintenance, metrics collection and reporting, as
well as awareness & training initiatives.
The senior information security analyst will be responsible for hands-on
development work in the aforementioned areas, as well as establishing initial
practices and methodologies for the company through development or adoption
from industry.
A critical function of this role will be the analysis of applicable privacy and
security regulations and standards and subsequent translation into business and
technical requirement, as well as communication of these through a formalized
program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills to bring stakeholders to consensus
- Good facilitation skills to lead cross function teams to reach reason,
achievable and responsible governance
- Strong communicator (In – listening, Out – verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills to assess volumes of risk issues to distill it
down and translate into concise business information
- Ability to translate legislation and standards into requirements
- Strong presentation skills and ability to present to all levels of the
organization, and large volumes in an audience
- MS Office, Project, & Visio
- E-learning development
- Communication video development
Knowledge:
- Global financial services regulatory climate
- Legislative development cycle
- ISO 17799:2005 / 27001
- ITIL
- COBiT
- Adult education principles and development tools
