Position: Quality Assurance
Location: Mountain View, California, United States

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance
protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production
equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in
compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable
government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the
inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials,
and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established
manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures
are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications
and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the
efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support
documents and records.
Assume hands on testing and test lead responsibilities. Test robust UNIX based
server side applications. Participate in the development of test plans and
test cases. Participate in the development of automated regression and load
test scripts. Participate in the execution of manual and automated tests.
Research and troubleshoot system and application problems. Create defect
reports that clearly identify issues discovered during testing. Effectively
communicate results of testing to management. Share assistance and information
with team members. Work independently with minimum supervision to accomplish
assigned tasks on schedule. Lead the test effort for some projects.
Coordination of tasks, independent responsibility for obtaining and following
up on task dates. Set necessary project standards for test team to use.
Creation of QA phase project plan and assignments.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong SQL background.
Hands-On Web Security.
Strong RDBMS background.
Minimum of 5 years in QA in a client server environment including use of any
defect tracking system.
Strong background in writing tests cases.
Minimum of 5 years professional UNIX experience.
Minimum of 5 years professional programming experience.
Minimum of 3 years work experience writing Unix shell and Perl scripts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
