Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Edison, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

SecurView offer exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with hands-on
experience in the design and implementation of security and network systems
technologies from Cisco Systems. SecurView offers an organization the ability
to leverage existing security components and internal IT resources to deliver a
comprehensive real-time monitoring, reporting and rapid response managed
security solution. Our SecurView Security Consulting practice provides
planning, design and implementation solutions for Cisco client base. SecurView
continues to serve number of clients in financial services, state and local,
retail, manufacturing and travel industries. SecurView managed security
Services since 2005 and was quickly selected as one of the ten Cisco AT MSSP
partner in US.
Primary responsibilities:
Design/plan network security solutions that include various security
technologies
Implementation, integration, customization, and administration of Cisco
network security products
Prepare proposals for network security projects working with SecurView sales
team
Contribute/lead development and presentation of project documentation like
operational/design documents, requirements document and project reports
Required Experience:
2 to 5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing network
security solutions around more than one Cisco security products like Cisco
ASA, Cisco MARS, Cisco CSA, CSM, Ciscoworks VMS
Strong TCP/IP networking skills (routers/ switching)
Experience with network security architecture / design theory
Proven understanding of relevant standards such as, BITS, ISO7799, SAS70,
COBITS, and HIPPA
Experience with other security technology like vulnerability scanning, risk
assessment as well as other security vendors products will be plus
Good skills in project planning
Good Experience with Windows operating required and around Unix / Linux
operating systems will be plus
Qualification and Skills:
BS Degree in computer science, computer engineering, IS, electronics,
electrical or equivalent
Good oral and written communications
Very good client interfacing
Good team work
System administration certifications are plus
Industry Certifications (CCSP, CISSP,CCIE)
