The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Sales Engineering Director
to successfully manage and provide pre-sales technical resources to the sales
teams to optimize sales and revenue volume.
As a Sales Engineering Director you will qualify suitable opportunities and
develop tactical and strategic plans for the successful technical
implementation of company products in pre-sales efforts in alignment with
overall sales objectives for the business
Main Responsibilities
Establishes objectives of the group managed and monitors/evaluates attainment
of objectives.
Responsibilities typically include budget development, staffing decisions,
performance management, employee development, profit and loss accountability
and business development.
Provides input to Region strategies, policies and plans.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of strategic business planning for the
Branch/Sub-function.
Responsible for directing and controlling the activities of a sales engineering
function, through management, having overall responsibility for planning,
budgeting and maintaining costs, methods and employees.
Receives direction relative to sales plan affecting area managed.
Provides strategic leadership and general direction within the
Branch/Sub-function.
Recognizes and develops talent within Branch/Sub-function as a key element of
executing business plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Several years of sales management experience.
Excellent customer communication skills in English. Other European Languages
would be a big plus.
An understanding of Business Processes & Procedures, e.g. Finance, Marketing,
Forecasting and Procurement
Strong facilitation and task completion skills
Excellent knowledge of IT Security products and services in the IT and
communications market at senior management level
