Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: St.Louis, , United States
Type: Permanent F/T

One of the fastest growing security software development companies for
wireless. Company will offer some relocation. Location is in the subarbs of
St.Louis, MO
Working as part of the server team, the Cryptology Engineer (CE) is a resource
to all client and server engineers. It is the responsibility of the Cryptology
Engineer to provide secure, standards-based cryptographic routines and methods
for incorporation into all products. The CE will oversee all communications,
key management, key storage, and key escrow to verify its security.
Reporting Structure
The CE reports to the senior server architect for all daily activities
including tasking, scheduling, time reporting, prioritization, and resource
requisition.
Performance Criteria
The CE must adhere to the established timelines for each assignment and is
responsible to senior server architect for:
Providing program code for incorporation into all products
Communicating current project status
Programming cryptographic functions according to standards
Facilitating certification of all cryptographic modules
Addressing code defects
Maintaining ownership of current workload
Participating in mandatory meetings
Participating in special projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in related
