Position: Forensics Engineer
Location: Brisbane-Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

FORENSIC TECHNOLOGY ANALYST
Our client in Brisbane has an immediate opening for a Forensic Technology
Analsyt to join its team in the Gold Coast office.
Position Description:
Forensic Technology involves collecting and analyzing electronically stored
information (ESI) to support business and the law. The division undertakes
electronic discovery, information management and compliance solutions for its
clients. The specific tasks involved in this role include:
* data acquisition and analysis
* expert report preparation and reviews
* electronic communication analysis
* electronic crime investigation analysis
The incumbent is required to work independently and within teams to achieve the
firms' and clients' objectives. The nature of this role is very demanding,
requiring significant flexibility in terms of travel, client management and
office hours.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be working now in the same Analyst
capacity in a corporate or regulatory environment (e.g., Taxation, Securities
or Investment). You must have tertiary qualification in Computer Science or
Information Technology. You have a distinct advantage if you have a combination
of the above degrees and tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Law. You
must be a Certified Computer Examiner.
Professional Development:
For the achievement and maintenance of most computer forensic (and related)
professional qualifications/industry certifications, the incumbent must be
prepared to undertake continuing professional development (CPD). A minimum of
32 and 48 CPD points are required per individual, per year.
Experience:
* Computer Forensics
* EnCase (a must-have credential)
* Computer Security, Information Security, Incident Response
* Systems Administration, Network Administration
* Software Development, Programming (Microsoft .net, Perl, C, C++)
* Electronic Disclosure, Electronic Discovery, Electronic Evidence
