Position:       Account Manager
Location:       Latin America Territory, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Type:           Permanent F/T

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and 
managing the pre and post sales process with enterprise customers and partners 
across Latin America (Mexico and Brazil). Great communication skills and the 
ability to articulate the company's technology, product and vision to business 
and technical users, is a must. Qualys is a customer focused organization and 
we expect our TAMs to be able to identify all technical and business issues a 
prospective customer might encounter to assure complete customer satisfaction 
through all stages of the sales process. 

Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations. 
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI's/RFP's. 
- Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues. 
- Provide product and technical support to existing customers and partners. 
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering 
teams. 
- Attend conferences, seminars and tradeshows. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

To reap the benefits of this position the ideal candidate is self-motivated 
with a strong knowledge of and a passion for security policy compliance, 
vulnerability management and/or IP networking. Strong presentation skills and 
the ability to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and 
reports are required. A can-do attitude combined with an organized and 
analytical mind are required to navigate possible sales obstacles through 
creative and adaptive approaches. 

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 
- 5-7 years relevant experience. 
- Excellent written and oral communication skills within English, Spanish and 
Portuguese languages. 
- Ability to travel throughout sales territory. 
- Must have the ability to be based out of Mexico or Brazil.
