The Role
Purpose: Responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery
and performance. May take on role of Project Leader for special enterprise-wide
assignments. Responsible for managing the activities of a group of Technical
Engineers by monitoring all activities of the team during the implementation
and delivery process. Arranges for necessary corrective actions to ensure high
quality implementation and delivery of products and services. Typically uses
more managerial skills than technical skills. Usually involves extensive
interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development and other
cross-functional teams focused on the engineering delivery of new or existing
products to clients. Ensures that production schedules are followed and
product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with product
engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to analyze and provide
technical support to help resolve customers' product related pr
oblems/issues. Drives the planning, design, implementation, organization, and
operation of the Identity Management products and solutions. Individual will
be expected to mentor members of the team.
Requirements
Education
BS/BA CS or EE preferred
Experience
A thorough understanding of identity management systems and solutions, PKI
enablement and deployments, encryption, smart cards, digital certificates,
policy implementation
Required Skills:
8-15 years of experience in Project Management experience.
Project and program management for IT, client management and team leadership
Experienced in leading and managing multiple, full lifecycle technology
projects across different technologies and lines of business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to communicate
effectively with technology resources and business clients.
Preferred Skills:
Business skills, problem solving skills, excellent relationship building
skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage
complex projects
Essential Functions
Develop and refine service definitions, manage ongoing development of offering
programs based on customer needs
Work with Sales and Sales Engineering teams to educate them on assigned
offerings
Proactively ensure sales solutions are consistent technically and with respect
to process, goals, resource allocations, etc
Assist Sales Teams with service information and customer meetings on key leads
for assigned service offerings.
Work with IdM team on strategic direction for IdM services
Work with other service managers to integrate offerings and leverage
cross-selling opportunities
Develop service delivery plans for key customers
Work with Sales and PS teams to determine service scope and delivery plan for
key customers
Understand and respond appropriately to internal and external client needs
Communicate risk and summarized project(s) status to key stakeholders and
senior management
Partner with other Program Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects are
delivered on schedule and meet client needs.
Manage client expectations via clear communications.
Build key relationships and communicate effectively across multiple lines of
business within the enterprise.
Provide project oversight and customer management for major initiatives
Maintain ongoing customer contact for major accounts, as SME/practice lead
resource for key management contacts.
Responsibilities and Additional Duties
Responsible for providing technical expertise working independently and/or with
other engineers and our Security Assurance Group.
The Information Security Engineer will help clients assess, evaluate, and
improve the security posture of their information systems environment.
The successful candidates will also be involved in delivering strategic
security solutions designed to help manage the risks involved with applying
technology to business endeavors.
Some of these services provided include: Identity and access management, Single
Sign-on solutions, Secure IT Architecture and Design, Incident Response and
ongoing security monitoring.
