Position: Sales Engineer
Location: San Mateo, , United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-10-11
Senior SE - West Coast
Candidate should have a background in networking and ideally security. Provide
pre-sales product support and second-line post-sales support to both end users
and partners. The Senior SE will create proposals and deliver presentations on
products and services; Respond to partner and customers' technical questions;
Provide customer application and network engineering support; Act as primary
liaison point between partners, customers and internal R&D, Engineering,
Product Marketing, and Operations.
Required Skills:
8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer; Excellent verbal, written and
interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate at technical and
non-technical levels. Thorough understanding of LAN/WAN Networks and IP
Protocols; Strong understanding of Network Security; Ability to work
independently and to follow through on projects; BSCS/EE or equivalent.
