Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-10-15
This position will be responsible to support the Director of Information
Security in the following: (1) Development and implementation of a
comprehensive information security program that is designed to protect the
security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information collected from
our customers. (2) Manage information security on the production site as well
as in our office environment. This will include security incident response,
patch management, vulnerability assessment, security appliance management,
responding and managing audits and special projects as defined by the Director
of Information Security. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in Sarbanes Oxley and PCI Audits.
- Monitoring and maintenance of all IDS, syslogs, audit trails.
- Trouble shooting of all security related events in support of 24x7
operations.
- Operations Information Security Administrator and forensic analysis.
- On-call support during off hours and weekends.
- Incident Response
- Documentation of all work related procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
- 3+ years in similar role as an Information Security Analyst/Manager.
- Experience in IDS, Microsoft platforms, Unix based Systems, networking, mail
systems.
- Experience with the following: Hardening Core OS, ISO 17799 standards,
gateway security appliances, incident resolution and handling including
creation, response, closing and tracking, security management of production
servers, and vulnerability scanning and management.
- Knowledge of or ability in the following areas: TCP/IP protocol, network
sniffers, computer/network forensics, VPN, Asymmetric and Symmetric
cryptography (e.g., PGP).
- Ability to document security standards and procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving various site security issues.
- BA/BS with technical or business major, or equivalent experience, required.
The following skills/experiences are strongly preferred:
- Experience with application and network penetration testing.
- Security or related computer certification(s) (e.g., CISSP, SSCP, CISA,
Security+, GIAC, or CNSE).
- E-commerce industry experience and knowledge of Microsoft DNA Architecture.
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX.
- Linux / UNIX knowledge
- Tools including: GFI SELM, GFI NSS, NESSUS, SpiDynamics WebInspect, Snort,
Cisco Pix,Tripwire, SurfControl, Esafe, PGP, Approva [SAP], Forensic Experience.
