Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-10-02
Salary up to 115k+benefits
The specific application this person will be working with is the STAR ATM
Network. The person will spend their days reviewing system capacity metrics
performance reports on everything but the network (Database capacity, CPU,
etc). They’ll be looking at “transactions per second, peak load,
etc”
The specific platform this application lives on is Tandem NSK aka HP Non-Stop.
Job
Ensures data recovery, maintenance, data integrity, and space requirements are
met.
Performs capacity workload modeling and availability analysis for a variety of
platforms.
Ensures reliability and availability of platforms to meet business objectives.
Presents statistical trend analysis and recommendations to IT management.
Works independently with clients and Sr. management on a daily basis.
Provides coaching to team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Expert in capacity planning modeling and availability analysis in the Tandem
NSK – HP Non-Stop environment.
Serves as an expert resource to IT groups in planning the resource requirements
for systems under development.
Understands business issues on an enterprise-wide basis
6+ years of related IT experience.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
