Cisco IPT Callmanager Tier II Engineer Job
Description:
TEKsystems is looking for a qualified Cisco IPT Tier II Engineer for a six
month contract position in Austin. Our client is a collaborative organization
that provides innovative solutions based on proven technology and communication
strategies. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to begin a career
with a leading company in Austin for IT business solutions.
This position will be responsible for isolating and resolving issues in a
complex Cisco IPT environment, tracking issues and communicating the status to
end users, interfacing with customers and Cisco TAC to perform fault isolation,
escalation and status communications, and implement network changes. This
individual will be working in a large scale, NOC environment in Central, North
Austin.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years experience in Cisco IP Telephony,
including Cisco Unity and Call Manager, and must have experience with IPCC. He/
she must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have
proven crisis management skills. CCNA certification is preferred but not
required.
