The position will play a crucial role as an analyst within the LM Aero Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). NOSC analysts are responsible for: * Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events using security event management tools. * Performing technical analysis and correlation of security data from internal and external servers, networking devices (Windows, UNIX, Linux, IOS) and security devices (IDS, SIMS, firewalls, hosts, honeypots). * Developing intrusion analysis techniques and countermeasures based upon security intelligence data. * Researching, developing and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities and exploits. * Producing cohesive technical intelligence reports regarding security incidents. * Assisting with the development and implementation of security event management tools. This is a highly analytical position requiring substantial independent research and discretion in responding to security incidents. The selected candidate will work directly with LM Aeronautics employees, customers, partners, and vendors.
