Join our client in a revenue producing role where you will assist in selling 
emerging software solutions in the federal markets sector as a Sales Engineer. 
Our client’s solutions provide: Intellectual Property Protection, Access 
Control, Data Theft Prevention, Encryption and more. Their solutions address 
regulatory compliance requirements such as: Basel II, Corporate Governance, 
GLBA, HIPAA, SB 1386, ITAR/Export Control, NASD 2711, SOX and more. The Sales 
Engineer will be a self-directed, articulate, well-organized team player who 
will operate as a technical evangelist for sales providing assistance in 
demonstrations, sales calls, proposals, trade shows and product deployment / 
implementation. You’ll play a vital role in closing business. To do this, 
you must demonstrate a strong balance between consultative sales skills and 
broad technical knowledge. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to 
effectively interact with product development, product managers, 
 product support, quality engineering, sales and marketing. You’ll deliver 
technical sales presentations, respond to questions and to product inquiries, 
install and configure enterprise software and provide training to customers and 
partners.  



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requires a BA/BS combined with 5+ years experience selling and implementing 
emerging enterprise software solutions. Experience working in the government 
sector is required. Must demonstrate technical knowledge and hands-on 
experience with enterprise security and system administration including 
Windows-based operating systems, network infrastructure, 3-tier architecture, 
directory services (Active Directory and LDAP), authentication, encryption and 
system administration. Must have technical experience with MS SQL Server and be 
familiar with .NET. Outstanding communication skills are imperative as is your 
ability to present solutions to customers. Additional desirable skills include: 
experience with firewalls, reverse proxies, IDS, PKI, Web and Application 
Servers, Web Services, REBMS, JAVA, J2##, ODBC, .NET, Windows Server 2003, 
Active Directory, LDAP, Exchange, BlackBerry and Encryption technologies. A 
Government Security Clearance is preferred. Expect to travel in this role.
  Preferred certifications include a CISSP and MCSE.
