Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
Type: Permanent F/T

Are you an experienced and talented Java/C++ developer who enjoys working with

Our client is looking for an experienced JAVA/C++ software developer with a
passion for software development to join their talented team of software
engineers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an industry leader with a team of
highly talented software engineers using "bleeding edge" technologies. You
will be heavily involved in the design and coding of a complex real-time system
and will work on the team responsible for device integrations and security and
vulnerability projects.

THE LOCATION
The position can be located in either Saint John or Fredericton, New Brunswick
depending upon the candidate's preference.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

THE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent software development and design skills, solid experience with Java
and/or C++ in a UNIX or Linux environment, and significant experience with
scripting languages such as Perl or Python are a definite must. Our ideal
candidate has a strong background in network engineering/administration
(traffic, log and device analysis, network security) in addition to having
excellent software development skills
And most importantly, you’ve had a passion for network security and
software development and design for as long as you can remember.
