Position: Security Auditor
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-09-24
Provides leadership in achieving ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency
to the IT compliance process. Responsible for the development, publication, and
rollout of information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
across the enterprise. Advises on compliance with applicable laws and
regulations and other governance requirements. Identify communication,
education, awareness, and compliance needs. Ensure that the corporate security
program is compliant with ISO 17799/Cobit, HIPAA, The Joint Commission (TJC)
and other regulations that govern Information security for a health care
organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 4 year degree, military equivalence or a combination of education
and hands on work experience equivalence. Professional information security
certification (CISM), experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 17799/Cobit, HIPAA,
The Joint Commission (TJC), and other pertinent compliance regulations is
expected. 5+ years experience supervising a team of at least 5 workers. 5+
years planning, delivering measuring and communicating policies and procedures.
5+ years experience working with PHI and the regulations that govern the
security for Protected Health Information (PHI). 10+ years experience system
integration. Demonstrated expertise in the area of information security to
include the concepts of risk assessment and management. Track record of
adherence to high standards of ethical behavior, integrity and personal
responsibility, and ability to make sound business judgments. Knowledge, skills
and abilities required: High degree of technical knowledge regarding computer
sys
tems, access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and overall
knowledge of computer security systems is required. Expert knowledge of ISO
17799/Cobit, HIPAA, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulations that
govern Information security for a Health Care organization. Expert knowledge
Information Security best practices. Excellent organizational, time management
and documentation skills. Ability to walk between campuses and travel to remote
facilities as needed. Ability to travel out of town for education, conferences,
and site visits, etc. Ability to travel between all end points that are
connected to our network. Ability to think logically and analyze complex
problems in an organized and systematic fashion. Ability to communicate
effectively, both written and orally. Ability to make decisions in emergency
situations. Willing to work non-standard and extended hours.
