The Role
Skills:
Netscreen firewall, Linux, Banking experience.
Role involves specification, deployment, configuration and testing of new
firewall and security equipment.
The role will also involve project management, participation in project
tracking and communication meetings among other things.
The candidate must be a self-starter but recognizes the importance and value of
a team effort.
Excellent trouble-shooting skills, communication skills, process development
skills, and writing skills are a must.
Technical skills Required:
Extensive experience of Netscreen firewalls
Experience of Netscreen Security Manager
Solid knowledge of TCP IP networking
Unix Systems administration experience.
Experience with UNIX version control systems (RCS/CVS/SVN)
Perl and UNIX shell programming experience.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Skills Desired:
Experience with F5 Big IP, CSS, Local Directors or similar devices.
Experience of working in a Financial Institution.
