Ensures compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Reviews and investigates non-compliance issues. Responsible for employment, training and discipline of assigned employees. Works on management problems of a fairly complex nature and recommends changes to team policies. Success allows operation to maintain schedules, avoid declining employee morale, and avoid negative budget issues. Interacts daily with customers and/or functional peer groups. Interprets, implements and administers policies that typically affect individual employees of a sub-unit. Performs full range of managerial duties for employees supervised including recruitment, salary administration, performance reviews, counseling, and employee develop ment. Responsible for maintaining good customer relations to explain technical trade-off to managers and customers who may not have the technical expertise to perform the analysis themselves.
