Data Industries currently has an opening for a Senior Firewall Engineer to
work for a Governmental agency located in Miami,FL. This is a long term
position.
Description:
Expert level: Senior level Senior Firewall engineer who has an understanding
of Cisco Switching and Routing, Nortel Switching and Routing, and Network
Security Technologies. Must be at an expert level in Checkpoint R55 and NGX as
well as Nortel Alteon Switched Firewalls. Advanced TCP/IP traffic analysis a
must. Expert level also required for understanding common threat vectors and
associated defenses.
Must have the ability to analyze business and regulatory requirements and
develop required security controls to meet those requirements. Ability to
manage multiple high profile projects simultaneously.
Project management skills a MUST.
Required:
4 year college degree
10 years of experience in Information security position in a large IT hosting
or data center environment (30,000 desktop and servers).
3 years experience managing and implementing checkpoint firewalls with specific
experience on high availability Alteon Switched Firewall Configurations.
Previous experience with Juniper andOR Cisco Firewalls a plus.
Must hold Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer Certification
