Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Evansville, Indiana, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Overview:
My client is a well established financial services firm in the consumer finance
space and part of a much larger global organization. The security organization
is well established but growing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone
who has a broad background in security and likes a diverse role. That said,
candidates who have particular expertise in different areas of security will
have an opportunity to focus on those areas. This is also a great opportunity
for someone who wants a challenging role with long term growth, but in a market
where real estate costs are extremely reasonable and the community is family
friendly.
Position Description:
Design, perform, analyze and interpret results of penetration testing of all
systems in order to identify system vulnerabilities.
Assist with planning, designing, and configuring all security systems and the
corresponding/associated software, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion
detection systems, cryptography systems, biometrics, and anti-virus software.
Researches emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of
security enhancements and development efforts.
Makes recommendations to management on researched items.
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information residing in various
information systems platforms throughout AGF.
Monitors various systems security logs, interpret activity, and recommend plans
for resolution if problems are identified.
Reviews connection security for LANs, WANs, AGF Web sites, corporate
intranets/extranets/portals, and e-mail communication.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
$70-$90K base salary, bonus, relocation
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position Requirements:
College Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related
field.
Six (6) years of relevant IT experience and Four (4) years risk or security
experience with network and security components such as firewalls, intrusion
detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other
industry-standard techniques and practices.
CISA, CISSP certifications preferred.
Verbal and Written communication skills are a must.
Organizational skills and attention to details.
