Role:Responsible for administration of an Information Technology Security
Program
Compensation: Total annual compensation can be from $80,000 to $120,000 plus
benefits, depending upon experience/skills
Company Background:
Our client is a mid-size, New York-based, full-service commercial & private
bank that specializes in providing financial
services to middle- to upper-middle market firms, international businesses, and
not-for-profit organizations. The bank
has offices in most major US markets, as well as overseas.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in administration of the bank’s Information Technology Security
Program
- Direct development & implementation of security system design, including
development of policies, standards & guidelines for addressing new technology
security trends & issues, with a concentration on Internet and eBusiness
applications
- Assist with overall leadership and coordination of Information Technology
security issues
- Develop, lead, direct & perform vulnerability risk assessments, incidence
response activities & scan/penetration analysis & testing
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards & procedures
- Provide training, assistance & guidance to other analysts and staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS

**** Minimum five years experience in:
-information technology & security, including experience in
scanning/penetration tools, network firewall technologies, Internet
applications, eBusiness, telecommunications and/or computer systems analysis
-performing network security assessments and penetration analysis
**** Minimum two years experience:
-with IT security in scanning, network security design, telecommunications,
Internet applications, electronic commerce, or electronic data interchange
- reviewing, analyzing, recommending, & developing enterprise-wide technology
security policies, standards & guidelines
- with Internet/Intranet/Extranet security architecture & issues
- in design, development & delivery of information security awareness programs
- documenting technical analysis & making oral & written presentations related
to IT security
- Experience analyzing router, firewall, operating system & other system logs
-Hands-on experience with more than one technology architecture or vendor
preferred; experience with federal & state Information Security regulatory
regulations, processes & issues a plus
-Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills; ability to
productively work cooperatively with a wide variety of constituencies,
including business partners, and technology and operations managers
-Highly energetic and results oriented
- Reputation for good character and integrity
EDUCATION
-A bachelors degree is preferred
-Candidate should possess (or be working towards) CISA, CISSP, or equivalent
certification
