Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

A client, located outside of Philadelphia, is conducting a search for an SME
for their identity management business. The company is a $2B international
leader in its field.
The position entails working with customers in the integration of my client's
s/w and h/w into their client's network(s). The position utilizes web
application and s/w capabilities. Some of the networks are extremely large, and
require the use of security tokens, such as smart cards and biometrics. You can
begin to appreciate the obstacles encountered by firewalls, password servers,
rights and privileges, different authentication techniques, security clearance
platforms, and so forth. It is a very dynamic challenge to an SME.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Candidates must be able
to commute to the office near Philadelphia, PA.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The core set of qualifications are web application s/w capabilities . . . C++,
Java, XML(SOAP), in addition to .NET, Active Directory, Novell and Citrix
server apps. The company will consider providing training for skills you do not
have.
Knowledge of authentication techniques, PKI, SSL, VPN, and IPSEC are good
attributes. Expertise in writing apps to smart cards and authentication devices
is also valuable.
A degree the Computer Technology field and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
requested, but not required.
